Community Group Raises Money for Highlands Center for Autism

Prestonsburg – The Paintsville Ladies Golf Association recently held a Beach Party Dance at the Paintsville Country Club. The Association presented the proceeds from the event in the amount  of  $1,000 to the Highlands Foundation to benefit the Highlands Center for Autism.

Highlands Center for Autism students range in age from earliest diagnosis through school age. The Center targets academic, adaptive, social, behavioral, and communicative needs.  Highlands Center for Autism is the only center-based program in Kentucky using Applied Behavior Analysis treatment in a clinical educational setting.
